Deborah + Ryan
Deborah and Ryan are a California couple who are madly and deeply in love. I worked with them through my full planning package and helped ensure their Willow & Oak wedding was a joyous experience they’d remember forever. This Central Coast wedding took place on a beautiful September day and was the perfect setting for their love story to unfold.
Willow & Oak Estate Venue
Nestled in the picturesque hills of Creston, California, lies the enchanting Willow & Oak Estate, a haven of natural beauty and tranquillity. With 65 acres of sprawling countryside, vineyards, and a charming lake, this estate offered everything Deborah & Ryan desired in their Central Coast wedding venue. It was here that the two embarked on their journey to happily ever after, with the idyllic venue as the backdrop for their Central Coast wedding.
Willow & Oak Estate Wedding Details
In a non-traditional twist, Deborah and Ryan started their wedding day by sharing a first look before getting ready. During this intimate moment, the couple exchanged gifts and heartfelt letters enveloped in anticipation of the day ahead.
Before the ceremony, Deborah and her bridesmaids shared a joyous first look, and the brides’ radiating beauty took their breath away.
Ceremony Details
Deborah and Ryan chose the scenic hilltop ceremony site for their wedding ceremony. As the ceremony unfolded, Brandy, their adorable dog, trotted down the aisle alongside Ryan as their flower girl, stealing the hearts of many. Following them were their closest friends, adorned as beer fairies, adding a comical touch to the proceedings.
Reception Details & Design
When working with Deborah & Ryan on their Willow & Oak Estate wedding, their design and colors needed to reflect them as a couple. For Deborah, blue was more than just a color—it was a reflection of her soul. And for Ryan, orange exuded warmth and vibrancy. However, they didn’t want to tread the same path as their friends with a blue and orange-themed wedding; they craved something distinctively theirs. As a result, they went with a blue and purple color palette accentuated by vibrant florals and linens. Ryan’s boutonniere boasted his favorite color with help from the bird of paradise flower, while Deborah’s bridal bouquet was filled with blooms of the hues that were close to her heart.
In true Southern California fashion, guests enjoyed an outdoor wedding reception surrounded by the venue’s scenic landscape. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the couple surprised their guests with a delightful visit from an ice cream truck, offering sweet treats to fuel the festivities.
As the night wore on, the dance floor became a vibrant bustle of love and joy. Deborah changed into white bridal sneakers, which helped ensure she could dance the night away without a care in the world. Surrounded by loved ones, the newlyweds danced the night away, creating everlasting memories.
Reflecting On A Lovely Willow & Oak Estate Wedding
In the end, Deborah and Ryan’s Willow & Oak Estate wedding was more than just a celebration of love—it was an expression of who they are as a couple and a reflection of the support system they have built. As they embarked on their journey as husband and wife, they carried the cherished memories of a day filled with love, laughter, and the promise of forever.
