Mission Springs Barn Wedding

Sally + Anthony

I had the pleasure of working with Sally & Anthony during their Wedding Coordination package for their Mission Springs Barn wedding. Every detail was thoughtfully planned with this couple, including the custom-made furniture and sentimental family details. Dive into this beautiful bohemian and rustic Mission Springs Barn wedding at a barn wedding venue in California.

Engagement Story

After six years of dating, Sally and Anthony knew they would be together forever. It was just a matter of timing to make it official. During a trip to Utah with friends, the two headed out on an off-roading trip to previously visited sights. During a stop to take pictures, Anthony got down on one knee and asked Sally to spend the rest of their lives together.

California Barn Wedding Venue

Mission Springs Barn

Sally & Anthony’s spring wedding took place at a beautiful barn wedding venue called Mission Springs in San Miguel, California. This rustic wedding venue is located in the heart of the beautiful Paso Robles wine country and is home to 2,800 acres of pistachio trees and lush landscape. The property features a newly renovated 4,000-square-foot barn with the perfect rustic style and charm for this wedding day.

Couples can say their I Do’s in front of the rolling hills of California ranch land surrounded by their closest friends and family. Before heading into the barn for the reception, guests can enjoy an open-air cocktail hour at the Silo bar, which is a century-old water tower with a modern flair that has been transformed into the perfect event bar.

Mission Springs Barn Wedding Details

The bride had dreamed of a rustic, bohemian barn wedding with neutral earth tones. So, she opted for a color palette of burnt orange, beige, olive green, ivory, and mauve. Freckled Floral designed stunning arrangements with neutral-toned flowers and textured dried grasses. They created billowing arrangements with lush pampas grass that were used during the ceremony and throughout the reception space. Whenever possible, burnt orange was incorporated into the design and flowed seamlessly from the bridesmaid dresses to the seating chart and even the napkins.

It was important to the groom to contribute to his Mission Springs barn wedding. So, he made a custom wood cross as the backdrop to their ceremony altar and all the wood cocktail tables for the reception. It was such a unique way to get the groom involved and also provided a fun keepsake for the couple for years to come.

Personalized Details

Sally and Anthony wanted to put god first during their wedding ceremony and incorporated a knot-tying ceremony. It was also important for the couple to honor their late parents. The bride honored her dad, and the groom honored his mother by placing seats for them at their ceremony with photos of each of the parents. Later in the evening, the chairs were moved indoors and placed at a reception table. It was a beautiful way to honor those family members who could not be with them to celebrate.

It was essential to Sally & Anthony that their wedding would be a fun night filled with incredible memories and special moments. I think it’s safe to say that their Mission Springs Barn wedding was that and much more! I loved how this couple incorporated their friends and family into the celebration by having an intimate wedding party with just a best man and maid of honor, as well as by honoring their late parents throughout the day. As a planner, it was truly touching to see. If you are looking for a Paso Robles wedding planner, be sure to head over to my portfolio to check out some of my recent weddings!
