Timeless Central Coast Wedding

Amanda + Stu

In the heart of the California Central Coast, nestled amidst rolling hills and sprawling vineyards, Amanda and Stu exchanged their vows during a dreamy wedding at Villa de Lucca. This picturesque Tuscan-inspired private estate is the perfect backdrop for anyone wanting an Italian Villa wedding without the flight to Italy. Follow along as I share highlights from their elegantly neutral wedding.

A Central Coast Wedding Venue Like No Other

When planning your wedding at Villa de Lucca, you will be pleasantly surprised by the 10 acres of pristine landscape within which the property lies. This hilltop oasis is a dreamy vineyard wedding venue with the charm of the Italian countryside.

Amanda and Stu hosted an outdoor ceremony on the garden lawn for their wedding at Villa de Lucca. This hilltop location provides panoramic views of nearby vineyards and a little peak of the reception space teasing guests of the evening events to follow.

The Jasmine Sanctuary is the star of the venue. It is a permanent tent-like structure with statement wood doors and sun shades to protect guests from the California sun. For the remainder of the evening, this space was home to the love and warmth of Amanda and Stu’s guests as they made way for dinner and dancing after the ceremony.

Neutral Wedding Design

Amanda and Stu wanted a light, dreamy, and elegant wedding design, so they chose a neutral palette of gold, white, and greenery.

The bridesmaids wore satin champagne bridesmaid dresses that glistened in the California sun. While the groomsmen and Stu wore light tan suits that were perfect for the California heat.

White flowers adorned the ceremony and reception space with intertwined greenery throughout. Wood accents were incorporated into the design and used to accentuate the reception space’s wood details while softening the reception structure’s metal frame. Gold cutlery, chargers and delicate gold details blended perfectly with this neutral wedding design.

A Dreamy Villa de Lucca Wedding Ceremony

Amongst the busyness of the day there were some moments that will forever be etched in time. Before their ceremony, the bride and groom had the opportunity to exchange private vows during a ‘first touch’. This unique twist on a first look allowed Amanda and Stu to have an intimate moment together while saving the beautiful raw emotions of the first look for their ceremony.

Before the bride made her descent down the aisle, guests were treated to the comedic appearance of two flower boys. These flower boys had confetti in their fanny packs & took shots midway through the aisle; they brought a bubbly and uplifting energy to the ceremony and set the tone for a day of amazing celebrations.

Amanda and Stu committed their love to each other and God in a knot-tying ceremony during their ceremony. Three strands were braided together, symbolizing the union of God and the couple as witnessed by friends and family. This additional ceremony is an excellent option for Christian couples looking for a way to incorporate God into their day.

Recapping on a Dreamy Day

Surrounded by the rolling hills and vineyards of the California Central Coast, Amanda and Stu exchanged vows amidst the timeless charm of a Tuscan-inspired estate during their wedding at Villa de Lucca. From the panoramic views of the outdoor ceremony to the warmth of the Jasmine Sanctuary, their day was a celebration of love and beauty. With a neutral palette and elegant design, they crafted a dreamy atmosphere that mirrored their heartfelt commitment. If you are looking for a one of a kind wedding venue in the California Central Coast, there is truly nothing like Villa de Lucca. During your consultation call, ask us if a Villa de Lucca wedding is right for you!

Coastal Grit Houston 🤍

I had the honor of planning, designing, and coordinating this incredible event alongside an even more incredible community. We welcomed over 300 attendees from multiple Coast Guard units, all coming together for something bigger than just a gathering.

On day 44 of the government shutdown, it was a powerful reminder that these men and women continue to show up, serve, and sacrifice—no matter the circumstances.

This day wasn’t just about an event.
It was about grit.
It was about community.
It was about honoring those who give so much, often without recognition.

So grateful to play a small part in creating a space where they could be celebrated, supported, and simply enjoy the day.
